First a word about the neighborhood. The house is located in one of the most sought-after areas of the Southern Tier, the Lynnhurst section of Vestal. The community has great schools, reasonable taxes and every amenity necessary for a very comfortable life. There are typically few house for sale in this area, so this house is a real find.
The house is situated on a large wooded corner lot. It is across from a park on African Road which will never be developed. A playground is just half a block away on African Road.

The deck is newly painted. The roof is new as of this summer, as is the furnace and water heater. Air conditioning was also installed this summer. The basement was recently waterproofed by B-Dry systems, which guarantees that the basement will remain dry for the life of the house. The basement is not finished, but can easily be made so.
Most of the inside of the house also has a new coat of paint.
The living room is large with blond hardwood floors and a working fireplace, which was inspected and cleaned this summer.

The den has a nook for an entertainment center and a closet that goes fully along the back of the room, creating incredible storage.
The room also has a cathedral ceiling, a sky-light and a large overhead light/fan. The nook is to the right in this picture and has a cable hookup.
The bedroom has new modern windows (easy to clean), an overhead light and fan, a skylight, a window seat for sitting (and storage), two large closets and a loving sitting area. The room also has new plush carpeting.
